I was very hopeful for the UK when the Bexited because the EU political machine has become as what I perceive as independent of the people's will but it seems it rather went down from there. People being tried for "silent prayers," arrested for protesting violence .. "Online safety" just seems like an excuse rather than actually making things better. Gab.com also recently posted intimidation attempts at censorship well outside of the UK's authority. I disagree with much of their content but I'm so very thankful for the 1st amendment! I totally understand bitchute's position. The UK market is likely not worth the hassle but I'm sad that geopolitics have more and more effects on the once free internet.

No matter where you stand, I'd be happy to hear some Brits' opinions on that OSA!

Brexit was a terrible idea sold to the public on the back of a litteny of lies (where's that £350m/wk I was promised would go to the NHS?), and caused us to put a shotgun to our economic and travel kneecaps and gleefully pull the damned trigger.

The OSB is also a terrible idea sold to MPs on the back of a litteny of lies (just because you "broke" encryption for a popular application or service (see: Apple(?)) doesn't mean that real criminals/terrorists won't just use PGP and their own keys), and caused us to put a shotgun to our privacy and security kneecaps and gleefully pull the damned trigger.

Disclaimer: I was about 6 months too young to vote in the Brexit referendum, so a bunch of old [REDACTED]s who are mostly dead now have forced me into a declining economic future I neither want nor asked for.
