    Shame there's no such thing as crime against earth.. Behaving like this should get you put on probation, "oh, no, you can't have a country yet, you're obviously not ready for the responsibility"..

    There is scale and perspective in a few of these (handrails and a life preserver) but the others could benefit from even a caption saying "this is meters across" or "this is miles across"

    On the bright side many of the more dangerous sites were decontaminated and recuperated in the last decade, but there is so much more that is left to do.

    Also there is significant resistance on part of Russian oligarchs who don't mind poisoning the land as long as it gives them more money.
