Last month, I launched Vexly after realizing I was paying $200/month for subscriptions I completely forgot about. That free trial from 2023? Still billing me. The gym I haven’t visited since January? Yep, still going.
Vexly sends alerts 7 days before renewals, no bank connections needed, just privacy-first tracking. Our beta testers saved an average of $540 in the first year, often finding 3-5 forgotten subscriptions in their first minute.
Based on feedback, Vexly now lets you:
- Create family members and assign subscriptions for family tracking.
- Get subscription reminders in your Discord channel via webhook.
- Set individual reminders for each subscription, not just daily/weekly ones.
- Optionally auto-renew subscriptions, so you don’t miss any important ones.
- Submit feedback, feature requests, or bug reports directly in the app.
Would love to hear your experiences and suggestions. What other pain points do you have with subscriptions? All feedback is welcome!
What makes me feel frustrated is how even when your card expires, all merchants can still keep charging your card even though you didn't provide the new expiration date/info.
It's really great for merchants to keep charging I guess, and I'll admit it's annoying to have to put your card in every place when it expires, but it seemed to protect everyone against subscriptions building up indefinitely forever... am I wrong?
Nope, you're totally not wrong at all. There is a way to use a virtual card every time you want to subscribe to something and forget about it. Another way is to use something like my subscription tracker to track them.
There are many ways to solve this, and everyone has their own preferences. And I hope everyone doesn't get their card charged unexpectedly.
