    I tried it once for the first time a couple weeks ago. $12 total. While it was "worth it" if converting the dollars to time saved, it's also telling that I haven't gone back and used it again.

    I’m retired, I code because it’s something i enjoy doing. Having a machine do it for me is really missing the point.

    I have watched videos and read articles on it, I like to stay informed, but I have never spent anything on AI tools, or used them on any of my projects.

      Me too, but I use Gemini for free in VSCode for extended code completion (never hit a limit), because it saves me looking up stuff I should know but have forgotten. So it's "oh yes, that's right".

    I have a subscription for Gemini ($10/month) but it also gives me access to their antigravity services which is useful for keeping track of "agentic" coding tools & dispelling the constant marketing hype.
