    Looking at the location, it does seem a waste of a site very close to a railway station, park, offices etc to use it for a building which will have a staff of 10 or whatever.

    It makes sense to deny this application. They can ask to build it elsewhere.

      It's a business park "out of the way", so it's not really prime real estate for local people at the best of times.

        Then build houses. Giving away real estate for basically 10 more jobs and a highly automated facility is bad bargaining.

    Good riddance. 213 MW of peak power draw is insane, that's equivalent to all homes of Glasgow and Edinburgh combined.
