    > Is this really where we are now?

If I take this at face value, would-be employers prodding and showing weird interests, we've been there. Lord help me. And them.

Feels like bait to me, but what do I know.

I just tried this now. It was pretty flattering. I'm guessing similar for most people.

I think the correct approach would be to run the prompt, without them looking over your shoulder, and then if you like the result, share it.

Or if you don't want to, just claim you don't have credentials to use it on your phone.

Unacceptable and I am not too sure but I think it probably the request borders on invasion of privacy as well.

This post reeks of AI rage bait.

Completely inappropriate, technically foolish, and also, a proxy metric to avoid non-AI using candidates. Not a protected class per se, but could easily leak into age discrimination under the right circumstances. Furthermore, they should absolutely not be encouraging this kind of behavior from candidates, let alone amongst their peers in HR. Former hiring manager, speaking.
