The US admin says they're going to take Greenland one way or the other and finds out this can have short- and longterm consequences. In other news, water is wet. I don't think I have ever seen a dumber geopolitical play than that in my lifetime.

It’s funny to see Rubio try to charm European leaders in his speech. All without changing any positions really. Trump wants Greenland. Wants to dismantle the EU. Wants European countries to adopt his policies. But also wants them to keep being customers. Utter arrogance and disrespect for the entire European continent.

    Lol. Cherry by the end:

    > Trump “is putting America first, and the same goes in cyberspace,” Cairncross said. But, he added, “we don’t want it to be America alone. We want that partnership.”

Nah. Trump is literally threatening Europe wanting to steal the land openly insulting EU. His men are frequently pointificating about how EU is not fascist enough and sponsoring right wing parties. They all seek to ally themselves with Russia.

And they already locked access to international court judges. EU knows America will yank access and knows America seeks to abuse and dominate it, rather then partnership.
