    > George Lucas' 1977 sci-fi opera "Star Wars

I admit I've never understood why Star Wars is classified as sci-fi. To me it has always been space fantasy. There's nothing science-y about Star Wars, and it centers on supernatural powers.

Not a hill I'm willing to die on though, unlike Ellison it seems.

I was fortunate enough to watch The Price of Life[1] when I was a kid. It aired on public TV, as part of a short film themed weeked they had.

When In Time was released I recall thinking that the plot sounded awfully similar, and watching it confirmed that.

The Price of Life is a low budget short film, but if you don't mind that I'd say watch it if you get a chance.
