LLMs, which operate by recognizing and recombining patterns within language space, are structurally incapable of genuine reasoning.
I like her already. She understands the fundamental shortcoming of LLMs (not to say others don't) and is willing to address it openly.
Others know she is right but can't/won't say so for fear of ruining the big grift that they have worked so hard to sell.
Yann LeCun is considered one of the "Godfathers" of modern AI. He left Meta is now onboard here as research leader.
