    Location: Detroit, MI

    Remote: Yes

    Willing to relocate: no

Technologies: Embedded systems, automotive, machine learning, signal processing, data science, real time computing, safety processes (MISRA, ISO26262, etc), MATLAB, FPGA.

    Resume: LinkedIn -- https://www.linkedin.com/in/wcunning

    Email: wdocunningham \@\ gmail.com

Background: Masters in control theory and signal processing, working in the auto industry for the last 7 years, first on low level powertrain software then the last year or so on LIDAR/computer vision for autonomous vehicles. I've done the most work in C, but I'm now contributing to safety development work with the Rust consortium and Ferrous Systems through my current employer. Recently had to read the Linux kernel source and use the BCC tool suite to find a subtle issue in the network stack causing high latency on sensor data for AV, also coincidentally fixed most of the network timing infrastructure.

Currently doing software defined vehicle software architecture with a focus on fail-safe and fail-operational, loosely coupled, distributed systems. This includes some standards contributions and work with high level suppliers like Nvidia and Renesas for next-generation software/hardware system co-development.

Primary skills include hard real time embedded systems, safety critical applications, firmware development, system integration and complex hardware/software interaction debugging, along with detailed data analysis problems.

Side interests include machining, 3D printing, embedded system development, coffee roasting and furniture making.

I’m a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer with about 8 years focused on infrastructure, and a 15 year background in PHP before that. I’ve spent time on both the application and infrastructure sides of production systems, which helps when debugging or designing changes. Over the years I’ve moved deeper into cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and reliability work — mostly trying to eliminate recurring failure points instead of layering on quick fixes. I care a lot about long-term system health and building platforms that stay stable as they grow.

    Location: Los Angeles Remote: Yes

    Relocation: Case-by-case

I'm a CTO, expert engineer, and data professional interested in team-building, consulting and architecting data pipelines. At Edmunds.com, I worked on a fairly successful ad-tech product and my team bootstrapped a data pipeline using Spark, Databricks, and microservices built with Java, Python, and Scala.

At ATTN:, I re-built an ETL Kubernetes stack, including data loaders and extractors that handle >10,000 API payload extractions daily. I created SOPs for managing data interoperability with Facebook Marketing, Facebook Graph, Instagram Graph, Google DFP, Salesforce, etc.

More recently, I was the CTO and co-founder of a gaming startup. We raised over $6M and I was in charge of building out a team of over a dozen remote engineers and designers, with a breadth of experience ranging from Citibank, to Goldman Sachs, to Microsoft. I moved on, but retain significant equity and a board seat.

I am also a minority owner of a coffee shop in northern Spain. That I'm a top-tier developer goes without saying. I'm interested in flexing my consulting muscle and can help with best practices, architecture, and hiring.

Would love to connect even if it's just for networking!

I have almost 20 years of experience in software development from C to shining C (sharp). Golang is my favorite for its simplicity. Typescript is a daily driver. Python for those ML things, though I am not an expert at ML, I am good at Python. Also since I ran cloud infrastructure I know how to scale, observe, and measure. I know what a proper CI pipeline looks like. Thanks.

I'm open to backend roles, including roles I've done before but haven't in a while like Data Science / Machine Learning. But I'm especially interested in a role where I could write technical blog posts for a company like DigitalOcean. I've been a partner at a small company before and I've been a CTO before, so if you have a small scrappy startup and you're looking for someone to hire juniors and to read through Pull Requests, I'm your man.

Hi, I'm looking for roles in data engineering, ML, and scientific computing. Interested in geospatial, environmental, agtech, and remote sensing/space work, but open to other domains.

I started my career administering an HPC cluster used to analyze large brain imaging datasets for psychiatric research at a university hospital. I completed my MS in Ecology with a computational focus, following a BS in Plant Sciences from Cornell. I'm currently building tools for the National Park Service and other public land management agencies to help make sense of complex environmental data. I recently architected and deployed a wildfire danger forecasting pipeline across 173M acres on AWS. Good at solving complex problems with limited resources. I'm an advocate of FOSS tools and I'm looking to join a team with other like-minded engineers.

▸ Recently finished a multi-year modernization of the backend platform for congress.gov, specifically their substantial ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data pipeline.

▸ Worked at a number of Internet-facing companies during high-growth periods. Can do it all.

▸ Have extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining distributed graphics production pipelines for visual effects companies, under harsh deadlines.

▸ Have trained and mentored developers, tech-folk, and end-users as well.

▸ Love building reliable, well-documented, and maintainable systems.

    Let’s crush your issues! Cheers,

I'm a DevOps/SRE/Platform engineer. 10 years experience including private equity firms (HFT and prop trading).

    Location:

Belfast, Northern Ireland Dual citizenship with Ireland & UK

    Remote:

Any, full remote, hybrid or in office.

    Willing to relocate:

Within reason, have mother in hospital so no more than a cheap, regular flight away - unless travel is irregular, then anywhere works.

    Technologies:

Script in bash, python and if necessary groovy. Picking up Golang.

Worked with bare metal including data centre creation, hybrid cloud and mainly AWS with Azure and Alibaba exposure.

I prefer ansible for my IaC but I have experience with puppet, saltstack & Terraform for cloud provisioning

DBs I'm no stranger to InfluxDB or even KDB+ but I'm no DBA and main proficiency is with Postgres. Splunk including proper querying to a standard Quants were happy with. Elastic, can use, have experience, less fun to work with.

JIRA and confluence, heavy on the plugin side of things but anyone can design and manage those properly.

Monitoring wise check_mk, zabbix, datadog all experienced with to the point of monitoring HFT applications and hardware like custom NICs/FPGAs due to the race to zero.

Hello! I'm an experienced systems administrator and software engineer, with primary experience in the web hosting space and lots of secondary experience poking around low level hardware. I took a sabbatical to do NES development and start my own business, and now I'm re-entering the workforce. (The business is doing fine, but my first game isn't ready to sell just yet.) It looks like lots of AI stuff happened while I was out!

I love deep technical dives. My professional background favors web hosting with an emphasis on docker and kubernetes, but I'm open to explore. I've worked in customer facing technical support roles, and I do rather miss the human interactions. I'm comfortable on most Linux systems, with strong RedHat and SUSE experience in particular.

I've found that I rather enjoy working with assembly languages. I've picked up enough Verilog to simulate custom cartridge hardware (via FPGA) and do lightweight audio synthesis. If I return to college, it'll be to pursue an Electrical Engineering degree. For now, it remains a delightful fun hobby.

Hello! I’m a software engineer with professional experience in backend and full-stack development. Most recently, I worked as a Software Engineer at SiriusXM Radio, where I contributed to large-scale production systems. I was affected by a recent layoff and am now actively seeking my next opportunity.

My strongest languages are Python, Java, and JavaScript. I’ve worked across multiple environments, including over a year in a classified setting, and I currently hold an active security clearance.

I’m seeking a full-time entry- to mid-level software engineering role, ideally focused on backend or full-stack development. I’m open to opportunities across industries and teams and am happy to discuss how my experience could be a fit for your needs.

I'm a backend-focused SDE 3 and Team Lead. Over the past 4 years at a B2B SaaS startup, I progressed from SDE 1 to leading a cross-functional pod that owns our core workflow engine (a low-code automation tool similar to Zapier).

A few recent highlights: - Architected an interpreter that translates user workflows into executable infrastructure, dynamically orchestrating compute for heavy ML/GenAI workloads. - Led the design and implementation of a usage-based credit billing system that directly impacts revenue. - Helped design our multi-tenant, multi-region application architecture for global data compliance. - Rewrote our GenAI application to let enterprise clients talk to an LLM to analyze customer feedback data.

I specialize in distributed systems and backend architecture.

Seeking Founding Engineer, Senior IC, or Team Lead roles.

Greetings! I am looking for my break to get into the contemporary software development scene, after having previously developed software (primarily Windows utilities) on my own and having dabbled in various technologies. This break will most likely take the form of a tech support, documentation, or QA role for a software development team. An entry-level developer position would be even better, from a company that will have a bit of patience as I rapidly level up to their contemporary technology of choice.

I like both the aesthetic, UI, and social challenges of frontend development as well as the complex, very technical puzzles involved in backend development. It is very easy for me to be fascinated by cool technologies, both old and new.

Another appealing option for me would be to be involved with AI model training and evaluation.

I've had several years experience working remotely with international teams, though in primarily non-technical roles.

I look forward to making first contact with your world!

AI Systems Architect. I build inference infrastructure, agentic pipelines, and production ML stacks — not prototypes that crumble in prod.

Track record: - Employee #1 at Refact.ai (ex-OpenAI founder). Scraped 80M code repos, co-built dataset for Refact-1.6B-fim (SOTA HumanEval 2022). Built enterprise LLM inference backend, RAG over AST+vectors, SWE-bench-compatible agent loop. - Interim Head of AI (0→1): shipped full air-gapped ML stack in <6 months — training, inference, synthetic data pipelines, fine-tuned BERTs/LoRAs at 70 labels production F1. - Currently: sub-400ms voice-to-voice cascade (STT+VAD+LLM+TTS) on consumer GPU. Zero-dependency MCP server in pure Python.

I operate as Nautiloid Protocol LLC. Clean B2B engagement, no hiring overhead, no equity games.

Looking for: AI infrastructure contracts where output is judged by systems shipped, not meetings attended.

Over ten years at seed-stage startups.

I came up through design, not CS. That shaped how I think about software and the people who use it.

Most recently I was Engineering Manager and Technical Product Owner at Skribble (Switzerland, remote). Setting architecture direction, owning the roadmap, and staying hands-on with the team building the core product.

Before that I was the first Berlin hire at super.AI in 2018, where I built their customer-facing data labeling platform.

On the side I'm building a hardware/software ecosystem around the electric bass: real-time DSP, OpenCV, MCU-driven MIDI interfaces, DevEx.

I'm a full-stack designer/engineer with a focus on design and frontend working with early to mid-stage startups my entire career taking products from 0 to 1. I've recently been into AI and orchestration and have set up some pretty neat systems and side projects :)

We're a small team that leans heavily on AI ourselves, so we move fast and keep overhead low. Site's coming soon but we're already taking on clients.

Fractional CTO / technical consultant. I work with pre-Series A startups on the technical decisions that are expensive to get wrong - and stay hands-on.

Background: Founding engineer at OpenReplay (YC S19) - designed and shipped the session replay platform from scratch, now 9k+ GitHub stars. 15 years across the full stack, from cloud infra to low-level perf.

Master's in Theoretical CS, IPhO medalist.

Best fit if you have a gnarly infrastructure or architecture problem and need someone who can think it through and ship.

Not looking for: full-time, equity-only, or large companies.

    Email: mike@geary.com

Hi, I'm Michael Geary. I've programmed in many languages and environments over the years. Some of my current interests are:

    • Developer experience. I love helping my fellow developers solve problems, and building tools to make their jobs easier and more enjoyable.

    • Aviation and geographic data. For example, airspace and obstacle data importers for Wing; election results and voter information maps for Google; many interactive maps for other companies.

    • Hardware interfacing. In a way, I am a "full stack" developer, but my stack may involve a front end to a piece of hardware rather than the cloud. I first got into programming via ham radio, so RF hardware remains an interest.

    • Designing and building APIs. Too often an API is designed by exposing the internals of whatever system provides the API. My philosophy is the opposite: start with the apps. I like to build a series of sample apps before starting on the API. This way I can imagine what API will make those apps and others like them easy to build.

    • Talk with users! I don't like to sit in a back room cranking out code. I want to make sure it's the right code for what my users need, and that it's easy to maintain and improve as we learn more about what they want.

Open to full time or contract.

I look forward to talking with you!

I'm a Full-Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience building production web applications. Currently at a startup in Lima where I've worked across the full stack — from NestJS microservices and real-time WebSocket systems to React/Next.js frontends, serving up to 5,000 concurrent users.

Some things I've built: a digital wallet ecosystem (3 frontends + 3 microservices), a tournament platform with live leaderboards, a multi-platform soccer analytics app with Redis-optimized queries, and CMS-driven marketing pages with SSR. I've also built an Android overlay app for Japanese manga translation using Google ML Kit OCR and the Gemini API — more of a personal project, but it shows I can work outside the browser too.

I have a B.Sc. in Informatics Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Looking for a remote full-stack or backend-leaning role at a product company. Open to async-first teams across any timezone. Happy to do a trial project.

I am a seasoned (>15 years experience) full-stack staff-level software engineer specializing in the backend, systems architecture, AI, platform engineering, internal tools, prototyping, and data engineering. In addition to strong programming and architectural skills, I'm a force multiplier for any team in either role through the three T's -- teaching, talking, and tooling. I also hold a US patent in the AI space.

In the past, I've taught a number of scientists and students to code in python; I've led and managed a number of high-impact engineering teams of up to 12; and pioneered a number of no- and low-code solutions for stream processing, data model and query generation, form building, workflow systems, and front-end construction for a variety of industries, including those with strong regulatory requirements and complex business rules such as healthcare and fintech. >10% of all medicare applications and millions of individuals currently flow through pioneering no-code systems I conceived and built and have ran in production for over a decade.

More recently, I've built a no-code automated form-filler; a no-code web scraper (and an AI for generating such scrapers from a spec and 1-3 example urls from a page); and a workflow engine for coordinating LLMs and other generative AI processes, and on top of this a platform for both minimizing hallucinations and working with documents that are far too large for existing context window inputs or outputs using a novel, patented process that I invented; and applied these tools to various contracted projects requiring analysis and and cross-checking of information and other forms of integrity across textual and video/audio corpus data in a variety of domains (fiction and non-fiction).

I am also an improvisational pianist, published poet, and I've created novel algorithms and tools for studying and composing both music and poetry, which I have given a talk on at a recent functional programming conference.

I have extensive experience working for and running startups, software consulting shops, with some mid-sized company engineering experience as well; these give me a unique insight into speaking with customers and internal stake-holders, translating between engineering and other departments, gathering requirements, aligning stake-holders across departments on a vision and attainable timeline, and architecting/building/taking ownership over significant internal and customer-facing areas of responsibility.

If any of the above seems like a match for you and your organization or project, don't hesitate to reach out. I am available for both full-time positions and short- and long-term contracts.

SEEKING WORK | Data Scientist / Consultant | Canada/Remote Worldwide

I'm a data scientist with over 20 years of experience specializing in consulting and fractional leadership. I do the data science that AI's can't do. I thrive on gnarly problems where standard off-the-shelf solutions fall short, and recently where Ai just can't complete the task even if walked through the problem. My track record includes saving a German automaker from lemon law recalls and helping a major cloud vendor predict server failures to enable load shedding.

I've tackled a wide range of challenges across various industries, including oil reservoir and well engineering forecasting, automotive part failure prediction, and shipping piracy risk to route ships away from danger. My technical work extends to realtime routing (CVRP-PD-TW) for on-demand delivery, legal entity and contract term extraction, and wound identification with tissue classification. I also work with the current wave of LLMs and agents, and make them do magic.

I've worked with the standard stacks you’d expect: Python, PyTorch, Spark/Ray, AWS, Agentic engineering, etc. But I believe the solution must be driven by the problem, not the tools. I bring years of experience helping companies plan, prototype, and productionize sane data science solutions.

Please reach out if you have a difficult problem to solve. I do love stuff in physical meat-space.

NB: Please do not contact me if you are working on ads, gambling, or "enshittification". I prefer to sleep at night.

I seek contract platform engineering projects. I can help early stage startups set up infrastructure and CICD so founders can focus on PMF. And I can help established software companies with outdated infrastructure adopt modern tools and practices.

I have 15 years of experience in startup software development and DevOps across web apps, cloud, and Linux networking. 10 years of leadership in teams of up to 7 people. I have built infrastructure using Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Digital Ocean, and Linode.

Here are a sample of my accomplishments:

    * Built a platform for hosting web apps using Kubernetes at a major cloud provider and taught engineers to operate and improve it. Introduced Terraform, Helm, and incident management processes. It operates in 4 regions and has about 250 total CPUs.

    * Led a B2B SaaS company through their first SOC 2 Type II audit.

    * Created an application CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Gitlab, resulting in a DORA performance score of 8.0 (above average in all scores according to dora.dev)

    * Published and maintained the community Apt package for Helm, the Kubernetes package manager, which is downloaded more than 200,000 times per month.

    * Created a system to control calls in Asterisk with AI-trained voice commands ("hey asterisk, dial extension 1") https://github.com/mattfox/asterisk-voice-control
