    So you consult no one (or ignore those you do), launch a war without any clear reason or objective and in the aftermath, you ask "allies" for help?

    The level of incompetence and stupidity here is embarrassing.

    This is Israel first, plain and simple.

      Also it seems like it weakens the position of Ukraine. So the US not only don't want to help and say it clearly, but then start a new war that makes the situation worse, and hope that it makes everybody happy?

        Trump has made it clear were his sympathies lie and it's not Zelensky.

      Plus, you're being very generous by leaving out:

      - the threats of annexing Greenland and Canada;

      - the claims that NATO wouldn't come to the aid of the US (the only ones who triggered article 5);

      - trashing the effort of ally soldiers when they helped the US, stating soldiers were only in the back, far away from the front lines, not risking their lives;

      I mean, the list goes on. Blunder after blunder of deliberately trying to undermine and abuse ally countries that CHOSE to be friends with the USA - they weren't forced. It's an insane perk being thrown out of the window.

      Russia investing in the election of this administration through social media was probably the most competent thing their regime did (fortunately the strategic blunder in Ukraine is far greater).

      Imagine if Russia actually had good relationships with it's neighbors and Europe.

    We are going to "stay a little back, a little off the front lines."

    Similar to U.S. conduct within the UN, the U.S. and its proxy on the Sinai routinely, exclusively, overwhelmingly betray the will of collective, to a degree of monstrous hubris and violence.

    Re NATO -- which term it should be noted the British press has perversely redefined as Nato, a proper name, abdicating the memory of hemispheric treaty organization -- the intent of the doctrine was the avoidance of war through mutual security guarantees. But according to the distorted history proffered by U.S. Republicans, NATO's function is as a hemispheric cartel which U.S. and U.K. multinational corporations operate internally as a protection racket, demanding fealty from vassals under duress of war.

    Pathetic politics of terrorism.

    It's baffling and shameful that the multipolar commons does not offer any advance over this cartel; the globe is operated as franchises under cartel ideology and the intellectual culture has obviated philosophy for public relations (PR).
