I got an E16, AMD not Intel so decent graphics and performance, 8GB upgraded to 40GB (this was before the AI price crunch), for around USD650 or so. And it outperforms the (admittedly Intel so kinda sucky especially graphics but also other stuff like the whiny fan that's almost always running and the plastic flaking off the "carbon fibre" case) X1 I replaced. So their budget laptop is better than their flagship one.
I just bought a T16 Gen3 for a client - who is very happy with it. Great keyboard, brilliant display and very performant.
It was a core5 ultra w/ 16GB/512GB for $575 new. I couldn't find a price for the monster in the article (core9 ultra, 32GB..nice).
