    Never thought I’d say this but the climate change deniers were right.

    The IPCC reports were likely wrong and biased.

    Unfortunately for all of us, they were likely wrong because they understated effects out of fear of being called alarmists and because uncertainty swings both ways, and it seems that in the real world effects are far worse than expected (largely because unmodeled impacts of global warming are accelerating warming rather than either reducing or even balancing it out).

      To anyone who has been following climate change it was clear the IPCC reports were outdated by at least a decade.

      Back in 2013 or so feedbacks (methane etc) were already a big part of the conversation but were ignored from the IPCC reports until years later.

    hurricanes may be the least of our worries if the millenialy stable weather paterns disintigrate.

    the rate of change is litteraly off the charts, and plausible real world effects are as well.
