    The problem is not whether you CAN build a proper native UI in tool x or tool y. The problem is that designers as a group have lost the concept of what that even means as a goal. Everything has become so web-centric so that designers after a certain point in time simply don't have the depth of native experience to make it happen. If you ask them to specifically match something, they can, but they don't have that implicit goal.

    Don't get me wrong, similar problems happened back in the day with a Window designer creating atrocities on MacOS, or vice versa. It's just that these days everyone is a web designer first and platform designer second, even including the people writing the platforms.
