    Good for Europe to delay this act. But I feel like they’ll bring it back at some point. European leaders seem very committed to ideas like chat control.

    I also don’t understand the obsession with this:

    I think people should be able to use generative AI to generate whatever they want for their own use. And those making AI services should not have to spend a bunch of time and money on this problem. If a user of AI distributes something that defames someone else, punish that specifically. But don’t restrict speech and don’t add regulatory burden.
