Instead of invading a neighbor who never did us any harm why not attack the scammers who attack Americans all day every day? I’m sure the intelligence agencies could track down the ringleaders. Indict them, heck I wouldn’t even be mad about a little extra-judicial killing if you targeted the lead scammers.

From the point of view of the American government, Cuba did do harm to America. Eg:

To many people, America accusing Cuba of theft is hypocrisy. I don't have a strong opinion either way; I think a party can be guilty of 'theft' only to the extent that there's consensus on who owns what.

Doesn't congress still have the power of the purse?

btw they are still blowing up fishermen off Venezuela even as recently as last week

(spoiler) you know that scene in 1971 THX1138 where the only reason they end the pursuit is because of excessive cost overruning the budget?

apparently US military has no such limits

Trillions in weapons? No problem just take it from food and healthcare

or that only Congress can declare/fund war

If there isn't a price for this behavior, future Presidents will make this pale in compareison

Yep, and still no legal consequences for anyone for the precision strike murder of 156 civilians including 120 school children in Minab[1].

It was just "negligence" I guess, and the next war crime will also be "Ups, we did it again, nevermind!".

I would ask why they can't focus on one thing at a time and reach a conclusion of the Epstein war, but that would require openly admitting defeat. Plus these arsonists really just want to start as many fires as possible, as seeing the world burn makes these sick people feel perversely powerful. Then when Democrats step in as adults to actually try and fix the damage, the next crop of arsonists will hamstring them and go back to dishonestly invoking lofty ideals like fiscal responsibility / the Constitution / American strength / basic competence, etc.
