If you can't afford rent, you can't afford a dog. It's unfortunate that some of these people require eviction to make them understand how to live within their means. I wish them well.
You're so right... Had to find a home for my 6 year old kid 18 mos ago when I faced the economic reality I just can't afford him. The situation came to a head when his mom committed suicide after being laid off 3 times. But what a relief, we weren't economically ready to be parents in the first place and we probably never could be. And emotionally kids are so much work! It took tough love to face the truth, and I don't really miss him, and he was growing up to be kind of a brat. Since then I just keep my head up, seize any opportunity no matter how small and move on. But now that you've reminded me, I do wish the little guy well.
