There's a spectrum between "we just sold it" to "
we helped them in every step of the way." If the footage is being data-mined and cross-referenced and sold off for profit, then I think it's fair to say the company is complicit in the crime.
I'm less worried about many completely independently-operating snoops, compared to a networked and unaccountable panopticon.
