For raw coding speed and handling large codebases claude 3.5 sonnet still feels unmatched. But if you want something local and private Qwen 2.5 coder has been good at this time.
Agreed. If you want a local solution and memory is limited, Qwen 3.5:9b is quite good as long as problems/context remains smaller.
If using vs code Zoo-Code (new Roo-code) still offers the best results for me. Just be aware which extension you install...
