    Is this easier on the joints as well or just easier on the muscles?

      Good question. It attaches between the hips and knee so it probably reduces the impact on the hips. I can’t see how it wouldn’t increase impact on knees and ankles. Seems like a bad idea.

    this is physics, and any added weight must be supported by other joints, and all joints use exactly the same collegen/cartlige construction, and "redistributing" the load, will only concentrate that somewhere else.

    please note that I have worked with helping people who have significant mobility and joint issues, and developing core strength, dietary changes to prevent inflamation responses, and other simple lifestlye practices can go a LONG way towards improved mobility and quality of life.
