I really like Orion, but I had to switch (currently trying Zen) because the 1password extension was so so broken. I know it's probably not their fault, but it really got in the way every day.
I also had this problem. But I was able to fix it by doing the following:
1. Open 1Password app (not extension)
2. Click on the "All Accounts" dropdown
3. Click on "Settings" in the dropdown
4. Select "Browser" from the left sidebar
5. Click on "Add Browser" under the "Connect to additional browsers" section
6. Select Orion
7. Restart and everything works as expected
I don't know why there is downvote, but we should absolutely not being using closed source browser. There are already better browser like firefox, helium, chromium. Even vivaldi core is open sourced...

I recommend people not to use closed source browsers.
