    Whenever an OS intentionally departs from POSIX, I'm curious which compatibility tradeoffs end up paying for themselves long-term. Which POSIX assumptions were responsible for the most architectural complexity, and have there been any surprising regressions from abandoning them? It'd also be interesting to know whether the new abstractions enabled capabilities that simply weren't practical under POSIX.

    Please, at least include an option for a more legible monospace font. I couldn't follow what I think would've been an interesting article because of it.

    I booted this and played with this in VMWare. Played a bit of Snake. I couldn't figure out Wolf3d and the videoplayer didn't play the test video.

    I'm not too familiar with Lisp (although I did play a lot with LOGO as a kid), and I suspect if I knew Lisp this would be better. Is this eventually going to be Emacs inside out? Maybe I'll take a deep dive into Lisp sometime as it's ideas are important to the history of computing.

    Anyway, keep going.
