I think these employees should put their money where their mouths are and quit working on AI. If they’re sincere in their beliefs, that is.
I suspect they are using their mouths to secure their (on paper) money.
If anyone can run any open weight model, the financial projections to pay back all that debt and investor cash are dubious.
