It's not standard for the FDA to announce an expansion to a recall then immediately rescind it.

The lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico was already recalled, and we're not getting much clarity or transparency on what has happened after that. If this were a civil matter, it would be totally normal to bring in a third-party to help investigate, but the executive branch officially doesn't have that for the FDA, so Taylor Farms seems to be petitioning the executive branch itself for clarification.

Boycott Taylor Farms. It’s clear they do not care at all about the health of the people they feed. I will never buy them again because how can I trust them.

Their bagged salads are so convenient. It's literally the only thing that got me eating salads again, easy to dump them out and whip it up for a fast healthy wfh lunch. There aren't really other brands at least at my grocery stores. Maybe there will be alternatives now with all of this fallout.

So was there or was there not an (actual) positive test for cyclospora?
