Police already have well developed relationships with ISPs. Now they can request access to the human sensing device already inside your house before they kick in your door.
I have my own router. Does that mean Comcast will call the cops for a welfare check every few days?
Philips Hue does something similar with their lights, where at least three lights can be used to automate lights within a certain zone.
Of course Comcast will sell this information and track us, and find more dystopian new ways.
A good reminder that the corporate-controlled device in your home can be used to spy. Only on your behalf, of course.
