I think robobosses are actually a very good idea iff implemented correctly. They have the opportunity to be more unbiased and be more willing to listen. If people think that human bosses are going to be better, they are likely to be sorely mistaken. Unlike human bosses, they don't have a strong reason to play favorites. If implemented without consideration, even a spreadsheet will do the job. Usurping beancounting managerial roles is a huge opportunity for AI. Some of the money saved can even go to the workers.
