Love this idea, and I'm absolutely in favour of stripping assumptions. It just seems too easy to slip into old habits. For example:

    > Since I was digging a trench for the fiber optic cables to run from the road to my house, it made sense to get electric service.

Good example of being too rigid with principles, perhaps.

Interesting! Basically design from evidence, instead of imagination.

Wondering how this applies to scenarios where regulation and risk analysis cannot be deferred, and you cannot plead ignorance later ;)

Now, I just need to get my interests, hobbies and requirements to stay consistent over the timescale of rebuilding my house and infrastructure

It's probably very fun but we obviously do blueprints for a reasons.

Remind me of my naive years when I was building relationships on the go instead of thinking about boundaries and what I'm willing to do for them.
