Which is his loss, because it's a great book. I really enjoyed Heinlein's exploration of what is needed to sustain a healthy democratic form of government.
The company made famous by designing and manufacturing the Nazi uniforms currently has over a thousand stores, including hundreds in the US, and earns billions in annual revenue.
There's no such thing as quasi-satirical.
It used to just be satirical. Now it's quasi-satirical. Reality has caught up to the satire, unfortunately.
Maybe they are trying hedge due to the original book not being satirical?
This is what I came here to say.
Are we the baddies?
Yeah, but you've got to admit, the baddies are always dressed better. That's got a serious Hugo Boss aesthetic.
Until they forgot to pack winter clothes and froze to death in Russia.
Well that tracks, he was in the Nazi party and produced (but not designed) the uniforms https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_Boss_(businessman)

The Empire meets Star Fleet and the US Navy
I guess a film about a fictional American fascist future society aligns pretty well with the current administration's vision.
Quasi-satirical? I didn't think there was any quasi about it.
The movie certainly is (directed by same guy as Robocop) I can’t comment on the source material.
I think they meant it's just pure satire

Looks like Nazi gear
