    Tesla now says it's an AI and robotics company.

    BYD sells more EVs than Tesla so it probably makes sense not to try to compete with them. BYDs charge faster and cost less.

    It's astounding that Elon could take an accomplishment as huge as starting and building a viable car manufacturer and screw it up. Ever since cyber truck became the worst flop in automotive history, Elon has been flooding the zone with random ideas like humanoid robots.

    Tesla could've built an insurmountable lead in EV design by quickly shifting from cyber truck to a low cost model. Something went wrong with that, resulting in the outlandish claims that the former low cost project is now a Robo taxi project. That project failure will probably get swept under the rug of SpaceX merger.

    That's what you get when your strategerist thinks Polytopia is a deeper game than chess.
