This is unexpected. I thought unions were against the national security complex.
I think the recommendations are too complicated and not radical enough. Workers should have an absolute right to use AI as much or as little as they want in their workflow, with employers only being able to ban it from finished products that customers will see.
Of course individual rights don't fix everything. But the rest would be covered by strict anti-retaliation policy, ending at will employment and "right to work" laws. Looks like UTAW is too pessimistic about itself when most of their proposals are for top down regulation instead of union power.
