    It doesn’t seem so much like real introversion in the Nordics as much as people are just comfortable being solo for long periods. The same people are perfectly capable of handling social interaction, they just don’t opt for socializing. It feels different to what I would consider a real introvert who fears and has trouble dealing with social settings.

      You're confusing introversion and social anxiety/shyness.

      What the article describes as introversion (comfortable with no interaction, longing for silence and solitude) is introversion.

      What you describe as 'real introvert' is nothing of the sort. You're describing social anxiety.

    I don't understand this Germanic and Nordic hate for small talk. Proud small talk haters. Maybe you're just an asshole, maybe you just feel you're superior? It really doesn't cause pain to talk with people.
