OTOH, considering the lengths to which the Roman Church went in Ireland, to consign its own reputation to the place below - many of those with ugly memories of The Troubles and such might feel their real enemy is dead and gone.
I live in the US. As near as I can tell, my government considers all of our neighbors to be a current enemy.
There are apparently 4% of UK votes who think Ireland is our enemy. SMH.
