    learning to program is often more about the output side than the input side, you learn from doing, hitting challenges, and then working through them

    my #1 recommendation is to pick a project that

    1. is something you are already interested in or passionate about (helps keep motivation and direction)

    2. dream big, start small, learn the new things as you reach them in the project (on-demand learning)
