Jesus, Epic shipped slop even without AI, imagine how bad it will be with AI. Contrast that with the game Jon Blow just shipped after 10 years of work, already highly acclaimed. No AI in sight, no mad hatter CEO trying to wring every last cent of profit from children.
Would be actually interesting to see what would the downstream effects be. Loss of their engine would be pretty massive. Not that it wouldn't be the one part being bought out...

I guess if any large gaming company is going to fold first, it would be Epic. Pretty horrible experience across the board with them.
