I realized I love the humor in Frog and Toad type comics, especially when they concern some modern news story of interest. So I made a (2x) daily automated generator that searches the web for news, sifts down the stories to a handful of comic proposals, generates a few candidate images, and then picks one to show. Each comic is accompanied by the news story that inspired it. Honestly, it turned out better than I even hoped in that the comics really do capture the absurdity in this AI crazy world. Hope you enjoy!
